temperatures will be seasonal for much of the nation. Cool to cool side of average temperatures are predicted west of a line from northern Great Plains to southern California. The central portions of the nation north from Kansas to the Ohio Valley will trend warmer than usual.

precipitation will be wetter than usual along the California coast and in the south along the Gulf and Southeastern Atlantic Seaboard. Spotty dryness could be troublesome in an arc from Kansas to Northeastern Iowa and in the mountainous west from Nevada into Oregon and Idaho.
